I spent ten years as an elementary school teacher, pouring my heart into my students and believing I knew exactly what my future would look like.

But behind the scenes, I was carrying more than most people knew.

Then, in August of 2019, everything changed.

I became critically ill, spending weeks in and out of hospitals with a 104-degree fever and a future filled with uncertainty. What began as a sudden illness quickly turned into years of chronic health challenges that continue to affect my daily life.

Leaving the classroom was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. For a long time, it felt like everything I had worked toward had been taken away.

But God wasn't finished writing my story.

What I saw as the end, He was quietly using as the beginning of something I never could have imagined.

Through seasons of pain, uncertainty, and waiting, He taught me to depend on Him in ways I never had before. My faith became deeper. My perspective changed. My purpose became clearer.

Along the way, my husband and I were baptized together on our wedding anniversary, a moment that marked the beginning of a new chapter in our faith journey. Since then, we've become deeply rooted in our church community. I now serve on the worship team, lead Bible studies, mentor high school girls, and continue to watch God use even the hardest parts of my story for His glory.

Out of that season, Home Sweet Belle was born.

What started as a way to continue using my creativity and marketing skills has grown into something much bigger than a business. Today, Home Sweet Belle exists to equip faith-based entrepreneurs with practical marketing education, create resources that encourage women in their walk with Christ, and remind others that God can bring purpose from even the most unexpected seasons.

As a former teacher, I still love helping people learn. Today, that looks different than I ever imagined. Instead of teaching in a classroom, I now help Christian creators and business owners confidently market the calling God has placed on their lives through content strategy, SEO, websites, branding, and digital resources rooted in both excellence and faith.

Every product I create and every piece of encouragement I share is built on one simple belief:

God doesn't waste our stories.

Even when life doesn't unfold the way we planned, He is still faithful. He is still working. And He can use our greatest hardships to accomplish purposes far greater than we can see.

And if my story reminds even one person to keep trusting God through their own unexpected season, then every chapter has been worth it.
